Car Coolness

Recently Jeffery Tucker wrote about how car manufacturers are all making similar cars because government rules limit their options.

Kit car manufacturers don't need to follow all of the same regulations, so they can make cool cars.  A kit car manufacturer he linked to was Factory Five Racing.

Apparently for $13,000 (plus a bit more for an engine and transmission) you can get a car kit that looks like a Shelby Cobra!

If I had the space for it, I'd not be blogging, I'd be ordering my new car kit.

How cool is that?

Wallpaper Removal

This weekend I didn't go fishing because I was helping my parents remove wallpaper.

As it turns out renting a wallpaper steamer works the best, although it is very hot and the least fun way to remove wallpaper.

Using a wallpaper hole puncher and wall paper removal gel works 2nd best, although you get everything covered in slimy gel.

And soaking the wallpaper in hot water (the recommended additions of fabric softeners, etc. are not necessary) is the slowest and most time consuming and leaves everything wet.
