The Whited Sepulchre has posted 10 predictions for 2014. I'll try the same with similar subjects for each prediction.
1. Obamacare continues to be awful; our daily lives will get marginally worse throughout the year as a result.
2. Republicans will do marginally better in the elections. Not much changes.
3. The Green Bay Packers win or lose a very close game with the 49ers this weekend with questionable officiating calls affecting the outcome. I won't watch (shrink the rulebook if you want me to watch).
4. Voting will still be for suckers.
5. I'll finally get The Food Plot Store off the ground.
6. hmm...
7. Global Warming will occur...in March, April, May, and June in the Northern Hemisphere, and in September, October and November in the Southern Hemisphere. (Help me fight the horror of Global Warming!!!)
8. We'll get a minimum wage increase as part of some bi-partisan deal that involves spending cuts that will never happen in reality.
9. Democrats will continue to call Bush a warmonger whenever Obama intervenes internationally.
10. The morally correct response to democrats will continue to be to punch them in their stupid faces.
Happy new year.
I pledge allegiance to the supercomputer of the United States of Data Mining. And to the dictatorship for which it stands, one nation, under Obama, unencryptable, with tyranny and injustice for all.

Gay Marriage
Part of a post at Monster Hunter Nation:
In other news: Is the national debt over $17 trillion yet?
The fact that the media and activists care more about redefining the term “marriage” and telling Christians that they are backwoods klansmen, than assuring gay peoples’ civil liberties to enter into contractual agreements tells me that this controversy is mostly being used as a smoke screen. You’ll note that when you call it something other than marriage, and it does pretty much all the same things as marriage, even Utah and Alabama doesn’t get particularly spun up in opposition. If you’ve got a ballot initiative that says Gay Marriage, you’re shocked when Catholics vote no? Why not have a ballot initiatve that says consenting adults can form a civil partnership that allows visitation rights, joint filing of taxes, parental custody, and coequel property ownership? GASP! But where would be the controversy in that? Then we wouldn’t be able to scream about hatey hate mongers and stuff.I recall listening to the radio on election day last year. One person interviewed said that he was undecided when he entered the voting booth, but then decided to vote for Obama because he thought that Obama's position on gay marriage was better than Romney's.
My sincere belief is that this wouldn’t even be any issue at this point if it didn’t benefit the democrats to have a controversy which takes attention away from fiscal matters. Sure, in a few years you’ll be able to marry a bucket of fried chicken if you want, but we’ll be too broke to buy the chicken… Don’t worry gay people, the minute you cease to be a useful diversion for the progressive movement they’ll drop you like a hot potato. Ask an illegal immigrant Mexican or a kid in the innercity.![]()

Watching The News
I stayed with my grandma most of last week. (She lives near where I deer hunt.) Grandma likes to watch the news. She's even, occasionally, one of MSNBC's 12 viewers, despite being born a republican.
I hadn't watched TV since November of last year. Here are some things that I (re) learned:
1. You don't miss anything by not watching the news
2. Watching TV adds nothing to your life, find some other way of entertaining yourself
3. Sean Hannity is a nitwit (and I probably agree with him 80-90% of the time)
4. Bill O'Reilly's views are probably the views that a majority of Americans have on the issues
5. Bill is very arrogant and he even makes people who I would never agree with seem like better people by comparison
6. Piers Morgan is boring, I hope the average Brit looks better than he does, the average American looks worse than the average Fox News host, so he's not representing England well
7. "Just because they're better looking doesn't mean that they're less professional." -Ann Coulter on Fox News Channel show hosts
8. Ann Coulter is still fun to watch debate lefties like Piers Morgan, she always seems to be amused. (I might buy her new book: Mugged.)
9. CNN is liberally biased (visit my blog for shocking news)
10. Those of us on the right are no longer annoyed when someone on the left calls us a racist
11. You may watch a liberal news show (all but Fox) and think that you can look at the stories while mentally removing the liberal bias, but you won't notice the stories that they don't tell you about
12. Why isn't the terrorist attack in Libya the leading story every night? (See #9 & #11)
13. If I had any voice in the media I'd spend a good part of every day wondering why we haven't had any budget signed into law during the last 3 years
14. Have you seen Martha McCallum's legs? wow.
