I'm glad that I was born in America, and despite all the efforts over the years to weaken it, income tax, social security, obamacare, etc. it is still the greatest country in the world. Though I fear that it will not last a long while longer; how can this debt be sustainable. How can a country continue with only a minority of its citizens working in the private sector creating wealth and paying taxes.
So I've been wondering where I'd like to go if I feel the need to leave this country. Brazil, China, and maybe Taiwan, seem to be the most appealing for me. It seem like Brazil is following America's trend of going leftward, recently electing its first woman pm, or president?, who happens to have belonged to a socialist party and is enacting laws to that affect. China seems to still be moving to the right, and despite its flaws it seems that they still have a good long way to go before they peak.
